If you’ve been reading this blog over the past few days you’re aware of the situation with Brett Kimberlin, a convicted domestic terrorist who now receives funding from the left wing Tides Foundation, as well as the foundations of Teresa Heinz Kerry and Barbara Streisand. He’s been harassing and tried to frame a conservative blogger. The story caught the attention of Stacy McCain who wrote several posts that have apparently drawn Kimberlin’s ire.

Law enforcement officials have been made aware that convicted terrorist Brett Kimberlin appears to be engaged in an attempt to intimidate me into being silent about his sordid criminal history.

Appropriate precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of my family and others who might be endangered if Kimberlin resorts to violence to accomplish his malicious purposes. At the urging of concerned friends, we have vacated our former residence and I am now blogging from a secret location which Kimberlin will be unable to discover or reach. Nevertheless, we sincerely ask for intercessory prayer, that God will send angels to guard us in this grave crisis.

In fact, this crisis is an answer to prayer: My wife and I had been contemplating whether to leave Maryland, and had asked that God would give us a sign. Guess we got what we prayed for — unexpectedly!

The Blogger Formerly Known as Aaron Worthing (who is the blogger Kimberlin was harassing) has also weighed in on this latest unfortunate news.

Of course new readers to this site should understand that right now we are in a full on press to get justice against Brett Kimberlin.  He has actually tried to frame me for a crime only to be thwarted when video evidence emerged disproving his claims and exonerating me.  I have the video as well as the documentation of every dishonest thing he said about it in his effort to put me in prison for up to ten years.  I wrote a very long post on the subject and I would ask that you read it, so you can see the depth of this man’s evil and maybe even look into how you can offer me a hand in getting justice.  If we take him off the streets perhaps McCain will no longer be The Transient Blogger. ….

And yes, Brett Kimberlin will pay for the crimes he committed against me—the justice system will catch up to him again.  That’s not a threat, that’s a promise.

I’m thinking that it probably wasn’t such a great idea on Kimberlin’s part to go after a blogger, who also happens to be a lawyer, and get him fired from his job. It leaves him with plenty of time on his hands to fight back and perhaps get a little justice in the process.

Oh, and I wasn’t kidding when I said it would take an Army of David’s to fight this guy.
