I’m sure you’ve seen this before, but now that the Supreme Court has ruled the Obamacare mandate to purchase health insurance is constitutional because it’s a tax, it’s worth repeating. Here is President Obama during the 2008 election saying that health care should “never be purchased with tax increases on middle class families.” He lied.
Also, in 2009 while the legislation was being debated he emphatically stated that the mandate is not a tax. He lied again.

Handy to have a guy like John Roberts on your side. He can undo your lies, and use them to your own advantage. Why did he listen to the arguments? He might as well have played golf that day and avoided the pretense of making his decision based on the arguments, or the Constitution.
