According to the AP, West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin – a Democrat – is sitting out the Democrat National Convention this year because he’s unhappy with President Obama. Tomblin isn’t the only West Virginia Democrat who won’t be appearing at the convention, it’s like poison to them.
In West Virginia’s presidential primary, Tomblin refused to say whether he voted for Obama.
Tomlbin isn’t alone in sitting this one out – West Virginia’s Sen. Joe Manchin and congressman Nick Rahall say they don’t plan to attend the convention, either.
Each of the three faces a Republican opponent in November.
Will the Democrats accuse Tomblin, Manchin and Rahall of being racist now, too?
In related news, Obama’s West Virginia problems may be spreading to Pennsylvania.

Nobody should be surprised at the WV delegation bailing on Obameefest.
But when you see KY Gov. Steve Beshear, ND Senate hopeful Heidi Heitkamp, Montana Sen. Jon Tester, Florida Sen. Bill Nelson, VA Senate hopeful Tim Kaine, Sen Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Sen. Bob Casey Jr. in PA, etc. all skip out on the convention too…
…well you shouldn’t be surprised, either. By September, Obamee will be so toxic that even Elizabeth Warren will pretend he doesn’t exist. In fact, I fully predict that the DNC will quietly push back and demand that all the above Democrats need to be there that weekend…
…and to demand that Obamee needs to be in Mongolia for the week. Let Mooshelle make his speeches. She’s somewhat less likely to be booed off the stage.

I wonder what would happen if the everyone gets together at the convention and then a majority of the delegates decide for the good of the country they cast their votes for Hillary.

In West Virginia’s Democratic presidential primary, 41% of the votes went to a convicted felon. Obama is absolutely toxic there. Because they know that Obama plans to shut down the coal industry–which will destroy the economy of West Virginia. They really don’t have much else to sustain the state.
If Obama did not have this pseudo-intellectual contempt for America’s working class, he would go to West Virginia and promise aid to jump-start other industries there. That’s what an old-style liberal like Truman or Lyndon Johnson would have done. But he and his college-crowd supporters have decided that blue-collar workers are a bunch of Neanderthal racists on their way out, so who cares about them.
That’s what is really angering the folks in West Virginia even more than Obama’s energy policy. It’s that they get that he doesn’t give a damn about them.

Obama’s EPA had put the heel of the boot on West Virginia’s coal industry and has had a similar affect on Pennsylvania. The voters of WV would openly revolt if their Democrat politicians showed any support for Obama!
