Tonight President Obama is announcing the creation of a new African American Education Office, according to the AP. What will he do next, create a Latino American Education Office, or a Female American Education Office?
President Barack Obama is creating a new office to bolster education of African-American students.
The White House says the office will coordinate the work of communities and federal agencies to ensure that African-American youngsters are better prepared for high school, college and career. (Read More)
Too bad he doesn’t just stop pandering to the teachers unions who are content to have students of all races stuck in failing schools.
Well, finally the President admits that the current school system is failing the African-American students! But, of course, another czar had to be created to make an attempt to right the problem. I will be looking for news stories about this czar’s progress. Hopefully, this czar will serve a very, very short term, like till January 19, 2013.

This is blatant, self-serving, vote-bating discrimination.
Obama and his pals will not recognize the true reasons for the poor education of minorities. Couldn’t be the teachers, could it? Couldn’t be the students and their culture, could it? It’s like the old “Beverly Hillbillies.” Throw all the money in the world at the problem – and if you don’t get to the root of the problem, it will remain. This man wouldn’t know to look in the right direction if a train were hurtling down on him. This man is a sterling example of, “”You can always tell a Harvard man, but you can’t tell him much.”
