By now you’ve seen Chris “Tingles” Matthews little screed against Republicans because Mitt Romney made a birther joke and the GOP is slamming Obama for gutting welfare work requirements. Tingles said that both are examples of how the Republicans are racist. Newt laughed in his face before throwing the race card right back at him.
A food stamp president is a guy whose policies are so destructive, that he creates the longest unemployment since the Great Depression and he puts more people on food stamps, most of them white, than anybody else. Why do you assume food stamp refers to black? What kind of racist thinking do you have? Wait a second! Why aren’t you being a racist because you assume it refers to black?
From there Tingles went on to call Ronald Reagan a racist. NewsBusters has the complete transcript of the exchange. The only thing I wish Newt had done differently is that he should have reminded the viewers of the long history of racism within the Democrat Party.
Ronald Reagan didn’t have to say African-American – “we all knew what he was saying”.

Heh, Chris is so persuasive. The only people he’s not pissing off are the self flagellating, guilted, white libs and the black bloc base of which over 90% are either on the Dem’s government handout programs or voting color. That’s not the majority that put Dear Leader on his throne in ’08.

Technically I was alive in the 1980s….don’t remember Reagan’s “welfare queen” comments, but I DO remember any number of shrill shrieky progressives kvetching that he was absolutely talking about blacks after the fact, using their telepathic powers to elaborate on his remarks instead of solving crimes or whatever.

Good points. But I think Mr. Matthews may have a more serious problem. It’s a problem that can affect anyone from street hustling prostitutes to married, decent folks. Anyone sexually active may have it.
I’m talking about syphilis. Sure, Mr. Matthews most likely has a profound personality disorder and chooses to be a vitriol spewing bastard. Maybe, just maybe, he has syphilis. That would explain the madness inside his cranium.
