The Blaze has the full story, but in a nutshell Mitt Romney appeared with his running mate Paul Ryan at a campaign event the other day. After his introduction, Romney gave props to Ryan and the crowd started chanting “Romney! Romney!
Romney!” Romney, being the humble gentleman that he is encouraged the crowd to chant “Romney, Ryan” instead. The crowd noise was drowned out for some reason, but if you listen carefully (see the video below) you can hear the crowd chanting “Romney.” Well, MSNBC made it look and sound like the crowd was chanting “Ryan” and Romney was begging them to include himself in their chanting. Seriously, they are that duplicitous.
Nobody picked up on it until someone who happened to be at the rally called into a Blaze TV show. Here’s the video of the show that includes the clip. Follow the link for MSNBC’s disgraceful coverage and Joe Scarborough beclowning himself.
We see stuff like this, but then turn on the TV and hear the chattering class talk about how Romney is a horrible candidate. There are just as many of them online, people who are supposedly on our side going out of their way to bash our candidate. It’s maddening. There’s so much else they could be talking about, like this complete SCOAMF of a president or the bogus polls, but instead they jump on the anti-Romney bandwagon.
Update: Via TownHall here’s video showing the clip of MSNBC’s Morning Joe alongside the Blaze clip.
