Now I feel an obligation, not pressure but obligation, to make sure that we’re in close consultation with the Israelis—on these issues. Because it affects them deeply. They’re one of our closest allies in the region. And we’ve got an Iranian regime that has said horrible things that directly threaten Israel’s existence.”
Here’s the video. I didn’t watch 60 Minutes last night so I don’t know if this made it onto the show. We now know that his admission that his campaign ads are full of lies was cut.

Update: Jennifer Rubin has more on Obama’s appearance on 60 Minutes, no wonder he wants to do puff pieces like The View. Even CBS couldn’t make him sound good.
