According to The Washington Examiner, there are still 300,000 ballots in Ohio that remain uncounted after the election last week. President Obama won Ohio by a little more than 100,000 votes.
The presidential election results in Ohio were close: According to still-unofficial figures from the Secretary of State, Barack Obama won the state with 2,690,841 votes to Mitt Romney’s 2,583,582 votes — a winning margin of 107,259 votes for the president. In percentage terms, that is 50.18 percent of the vote for Obama, and 48.18 percent for Romney.
But those numbers will change. Remember when, before the election, many observers discussed the possibility the results could be decided by the large number of provisional ballots that might be cast in Ohio? Well, those provisional ballots were cast, and they have not yet been counted. Neither have a significant number of absentee ballots. Together, the number of uncounted ballots is larger than Obama’s margin of victory.
According to the Secretary of State, there are 204,927 uncounted provisional ballots and 119,535 absentee ballots, for a total of 324,462 ballots. That is roughly three times the president’s 107,259-vote winning margin. (Read More)
Before you get all excited, though, a number of the provisional ballots won’t be counted due to errors, and there are more of the absentee ballots from counties Obama won than counties Romney won. But still, it makes you wonder why these races are called, especially ones that are so close, before all of the votes have been counted. In Florida there are reports of boxes of military ballots that haven’t even been opened, let alone counted. I know it may not satisfy the urge for instant gratification, but counting all the ballots before declaring winners might be a good idea going forward.
Update: Linked by Zilla who has more on the rampant voter fraud that most Republicans are doing nothing about.

@lonelycon I guess it doesn’t matter. Obama won without them. /sarcasm

For affirmative action to work votes need to be counted on a curve.

I know why the races were called – corruption. This election was stolen. I appreciate this web site posting this thread. It’s an important story. Mainstream media won’t touch this. It’s infuriating that in PA Republican poll watchers were thrown out, and in other states votes won’t be counted. It’s unreal who would have believed this would ever happen here. Mexico runs more fair elections.

I remember the cacophony of vitriolic dissent in the post 2000 election. And I especially remember the mantra… “Every voice must be heard and every vote must be counted!” being bellowed by Al Gore, and the shrieks of outrage spewing from his army of henchmen, as they set about to steal the election by fomenting upheaval in Florida’s ballot counting process. This is the same Al Gore who filed a law suit to exclude the absentee ballots of military personnel.
But today I am not as pissed at Al Gore as I am with the Republican establishment. Every day it is looking more and more like this 2012 election was the most corrupt in American history. When abnormal numbers of electoral precincts do not produce a single vote for the Republican candidate, and hundreds of thousands of ballots are disregarded, you’d think that would raise a red flag…right? And yet, where are the outcries of fraud and injustice coming from our “fearless leaders? CRICKETS.
This type of inaction and cowering played a major role in the formation of the Tea Party. It was obvious to these folks that they were not being represented in Washington, and it just as clear to them that they’ve been snubbed again.
I think another march on Washington is in order.

How do they call a race when all the ballots aren’t counted and why isn’t Romney demanding these ballots be counted? Why do we even bother to vote? http://lonelyconservative.com/2012/11/300000-ohio-ballots-remain-uncounted/
