How The Communists And Socialists Are Setting Obama’s Second Term Agenda – Updated

Trevor Loudon has a great piece at New Zeal about how the communists and socialists are setting President Obama’s second term agenda. When you think about how Obama is refusing to compromise on the fiscal cliff and the Democrats are willing to let the economy tank if they don’t get their way it makes perfect sense. They are not acting as people who want the best for their country, they are acting as radical ideologues with an agenda.

Democrat policy is actually dictated by the labor unions and radical think tanks, such as the Center for American Progress, and the Institute for Policy Studies.

The unions are dominated by the US’s largest Marxist organizationDemocratic Socialists of America – which also works closely with the C.A.P. and I.P.S.

So, by a process of osmosis and deliberate orchestration, D.S.A., and their friends in the Communist Party USA, effectively dictate Democrat policy at state and national levels.

On November 16, the Democratic Socialists of America National Political Committee released After the Election: Keep Fighting, a blueprint for DSA action and priorities for the first segment of Obama’s second term.

It is basically a guide to action for long time DSA ally Barack Obama and the Democratic Party, over the next two years.

Diverting money from the military to social spending will be a huge part of the agenda. After all, a strong US military is the major block to world revolution.

The push will be towards universal socialist healthcare and an economy wrecking Financial Transactions Tax.

Ending poverty through massive re-distribution will be a big focus… capitalizing on the 50th anniversary of DSA founder Michael Harrington‘s famous book “The Other America,” which helped to launch Lyndon Johnson’s catastrophic and completely counter productive  “War on Poverty” in the mid-1960s.

Read the whole thing, and don’t put anything past these people. They’ve waited a long time for this. Remember how they were celebrating after the election? Why do you think they were so happy? Just look at the gifts Obama has already handed to the labor unions, and his second term hasn’t even started yet. Just wait.

Update: Rush Limbaugh got into why Obama didn’t let the economy completely crash in his first term, and what he’s doing now. He needed to get reelected, but now he’s free to, well, do what he’s there to do.

If your objective is to transform the country, if your objective is redistribution of wealth, if your objective is to destroy the traditional definitions of how prosperity is created in this country, if your objective is to change this country at its root, why would you be worried?  My contention would be that Obama is looking at his legacy not in the same way that all of the people in Washington, for all of these years, are looking at second term or presidential legacies.  Fifty years from now, do you think Obama is gonna be worried about what’s written?  “Yeah, recession in his second term, horrible economy.”  Do you think that’s what Obama’s aiming for?

I think Obama is looking for historians to write about the historic transformation of this country.  The ultimate shattering of capitalism.  That’s the legacy he’s seeking.  Would somebody explain to me why Obama is still campaigning?  I think he’s interested in growth, but he wants government growth.  He wants growth of the state.  The state can only grow one way, and that is if you take money away from the private sector, from individuals.  He is hell-bent on raising taxes on everybody.  And the reason for that is that it shrinks the private sector and grows government, and that’s what his objective is.  That’s growth to him. This ties into my earlier post about Obama’s lack of balance in the negotiations, and why he may not be worried about his legacy the way most presidents would be.
