The Obama presidency is just one long, bad joke. His idea of leadership is coming up with new twitter hashtags. Seriously.
The White House is planning to promote a new Twitter hashtag — #My2k — that represents the estimated $2,200 by which middle-class families would see their taxes increase, on average, if Congress fails to extend the Bush-era tax rates. Administration officials will ask supporters to post on the social media network and the White House website about how a tax increase would affect them.
It didn’t take long for conservatives to hijack this latest hashtag. You’d think he’d have learned by now.

I was just commenting on another blog, isn’t it amazing how priorities change? Like how when a former KKK member and a man who left a woman to drown voted against Condi Rice, and there was no hue and cry of racism?
Isn’t it funny how these cuts, that Obama and the Dems said over and over again were only for the rich, are now not?
It’s a pity that the general public has no long-term memory, and that the complicit Media compounds that issue. I wish the Republicans would (figuratively) smash their collective faces in every time they pull a stunt like this.
Air earlier quotes from Obama and the Dems about the Bush Tax Cuts, confront them with their own words and make them explain why they either lied to the public initially, or why they are lying now.
Granted, the media will fight it, but this is the era of youtube and twitter — nothing is completly gone. Make them own up to their words — make Obama explain that the $2k in question BELONGS TO US ALREADY! Make him admit that he campaigned against keeping these cuts, that he wants that money.
Make those wretches own their words, every hypocritical one of them!
Thanks for posting!
