New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (or as Zip calls him, Judas) twisted the knife in our backs and announced that he called President Obama to congratulate him on his win. Romney just got an email. I would have thought Obama would have called Christie to thank him.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said that he had called President Obama to congratulate him on his win in the 2012 presidential election — but has only sent an e-mail to Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee for whom he campaigned heavily earlier this year.
“We didn’t have a political strategy discussion,” Christie said of his call to Obama, according to Bloomberg. “I said congratulations on your win last night Mr. President, he said thank you governor.”
Christie added that he had sent an e-mail to Romney on Wednesday night.
“We haven’t spoken on the phone yet,” he continued.
Christie has come under fire from some Republicans who suggested that he hurt Romney by praising the president’s efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
If Republicans forget this and start calling for him to run in 2016 my head might explode.
Update: Linked by Maggie’s Notebook – thanks!

Maybe Crispy Creme can take that skiny blond Palin-hating bitch with him to the Kommiecrat pasty.

I thought Christie had some political savvy. Acting like the “useful idiot” convinces me he doesn’t.

We need to quit making idols out of officeholders. They and Coulter and other pundits shoved Romney on us, Romney attacked any other candidate that showed a modicum of success, Romney does things his way (or his staffs’ way) and loses. This should have definitely been apparent at CPAC where Romney said he was a ‘severe’ conservative. If he felt he had to assure attendees that he was conservative, he was not conservative, even severely. He has always been an east coast moderate. Officeholders and pundits WILL NOT be invited to pick a candidate next time; it will be the people’s candidate.

Good Gosh! Romney created a monster when he bypassed Christie for his Veep choice. This is nothing but payback. As I’ve said more than a few times, when Christy nominated the second Muslim on the state’s Superior Court, and the state legislature did everything they could to get him to nominate someone other than a Muslim, and he refused – the man is nothing more than a loudmouthed dictator.

I never really trusted Chris Christie. His ego makes his waistline look small by comparison – it’s always about him! He and Obama have a lot in common in that regard. Anyway this fat **** is dead to me now!
