Well, here it is. President Obama’s closing argument on why he needs a second term. It’s because some of his investments of our dollars fail, but not all of them, according to him. Can you imagine a CEO explaining to investors why their investments failed like this? Watch and listen as he says “Some of the businesses we encourage fail.” What he failed to mention is how his friends made a ton of dough before those businesses failed. Oops! I’m sure that was just an oversight on his part.
During the same speech, Obama also went off on how Mitt Romney is not an agent of change. Well, thank God for that! We don’t need any more Obama-style change! He promised to “fundamentally transform” this republic. The only thing that held him back was the 2010 election of a Republican dominated House of Representatives. If he had his way he’d turn us into a Banana Republic. Mitt Romney won’t do that, and with the right Congress he may even be able to turn things around so our children don’t grow up in some third world country where people dumpster dive for food for their subsistence.
But it all boils down to cultural issues. Are you going to raise your kids to become dependent slaves of the state, or individuals who know how to survive regardless of who holds power in Washington, DC?
