It didn’t take long after Obama’s reelection for Russia’s leaders to announce that they’re looking forward to the new, more flexible, second term president.
Russia expects Barack Obama to show more flexibility in a dispute over U.S. missile defense plans in Europe following his re-election as president, a top official said Thursday.
The controversy over the planned missile shield has strained the relations between the U.S. and Russia. Moscow has rejected Washington’s assurances that the shield is intended to fend off potential missile threats from Iran and voiced concerns that the system could threaten Russia’s nuclear deterrent.
Oh, and Vladimir Putin is just thrilled that Obama will remain in the Oval Office.
The Kremlin greeted Obama’s re-election enthusiastically – in stark contrast to Obama’s conspicuous slowness to offer Vladimir Putin lukewarm congratulations on winning a third presidential term in March, after a campaign filled with anti-U.S. rhetoric. Putin wrote Obama a telegram expressing hope that the two countries’ relations would improve further and inviting Obama to visit Russia next year.
Referring to comments that Republican challenger Mitt Romney had made during the campaign, Medvedev said he was “happy that the man who considers Russia (its) No. 1 geopolitical foe won’t be the president of this very large and important country.”
Oh well, the voters didn’t really care about any of this. We’re now just another large country, no different than Russia or China or any other large country.
By the time Obama is done after 4 years, we will have ravaged depressive economy based on govt authority which controls the private sector with an iron fist, and a US Military that will be the size and strength of the falkland islands .. Russia and China will have carved up dominance and control of the world, and because of Obama support for the enemies of Freedom and Democracy, the Western free World’s Democracies will have abandoned America as the leader of Free Nations around the world, and NATO will be either disbanded, or just another ineffective and dead Military alliance..
Obama will have assisted in helping Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood destroy Israel.
Israel will may very well be in ashes, along the rest of the middle east, but not before Israel retaliates against Iran, like I know Israel will and should, will full all out nuclear attacks, which will domino, and the midddle east will go up in a nuclear holocaust, which Iran could care less about, for this is what they want.. They are the insanity of the muslim world, and humanity, and the radical far left socialist marxists of Europe, let alone Obama, will give sanction and approval of it all.
By the same time all of this is happening, Obama will have likely declared martial law in the US, suspend the US Constitution, it will be all over at this point..
