A Fox News producer caught up with Ed Asner to ask him about the anti-capitalist “tax the rich” propaganda piece he narrated for the California teachers union. The producer asked him about the part of the video where the rich guy was peeing on the poor people. Asner acted like he didn’t know about it, then asked the producer “Can I piss on you?” Classy, that one.

It does seem rude, but, let’s face it, Sean Hannity virtually never tells the truth on his show, so Asner may have had less patience with the producer for that reason. Is there a chance in the universe that the Sean Hannity show would treat Asner fairly? Of course not. By the way, are any of you troubled by Hannity’s unfairness and dishonesty, or are you only willing to criticize Asner?

It sounds a lot stranger if you leave out the part that the producer came up to him and asked him about someone in the video peeing on someone else. Why did the producer choose to ask about that? Maybe Asner was just drawing attention to the very weird question.
