When President Obama announced that he’s nominating Senator John Kerry to Secretary of State he couldn’t help but take shots at his predecessor, because, well, that’s what he does. After four years of Bush bashing you’d think he’d get tired of it, but then he’d have to admit his own mistakes.
“When I took office, our nation was engaged in two wars, and al Qaeda was entrenched in their safe havens. Many of our alliances were frayed, and America’s standing in the world had suffered.”
He went on to tout his foreign policy successes, but left out a few key facts.
