Americans really might want to rethink their embrace of big government. A government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take it away, or to withhold treatment from the most sick and vulnerable. In Great Britain, very ill babies aren’t being given life saving treatment, they’re being sent home to die.
Sick children are being discharged from NHS hospitals to die at home or in hospices on controversial ‘death pathways’.
Until now, end of life regime the Liverpool Care Pathway was thought to have involved only elderly and terminally-ill adults.
But the Mail can reveal the practice of withdrawing food and fluid by tube is being used on young patients as well as severely disabled newborn babies.
One doctor has admitted starving and dehydrating ten babies to death in the neonatal unit of one hospital alone.
Writing in a leading medical journal, the physician revealed the process can take an average of ten days during which a baby becomes ‘smaller and shrunken’.
Read the whole horrific thing. Then consider how the British government is considering regulating the press.

This is beyond a Soviet style of governance. It is a political madness of which I have no words to describe. Not even in Third World countries is something of this nature done to these infants. The West has become very sick indeed.

Harry Reid is expected to bring up for vote this week a United Nations Treaty: Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities that requires a two-thirds passage to make American law subservient to U.N. International Law. It would remove parental rights to act in the best interest of their disabled child, which would be defined by U.N. Countries consisting mostly of Muslim Nations who would guide our Federal / State government. Call the Capitol switchboard at (202)224-3121 to tell your Senators to reject this absurd CRPD Treaty.
