Boy, the news just keeps getting better and better. Just kidding. It keeps getting worse. Once Obamacare’s taxes hit the miserable economy of 2012 is going to look like the good old days. Happy New Year!
The re-election of President Obama means Uncle Sam is only going to grow larger. As the new year arrives, Americans are likely to see with their own eyes the consequence of their choice of chief executive as health care costs escalate thanks to Obamacare.
Provisions of the law that take effect in the new year will reveal the true price tag of the president’s signature health care system in the form of five new taxes. Starting Jan. 1, a 2.3 percent medical device tax will be imposed on the miracles of modern medicine such as heart pacemakers, stents, prosthetic joints and diagnostic scanners. The levy will apply to sales, not profits, so startup firms that might be just breaking even could be pushed into the red by Obamacare. With 80 percent of medical device companies employing fewer than 50 people, the tax is a disincentive for small firms to stay in business — exactly the opposite of the effect needed to jump-start the nation’s flagging economy.
Obamacare will raise the threshold for the tax deductibility of medical bills from 7.5 percent of adjusted gross income to 10 percent, making it harder to write off the cost of health care. Pre-tax flexible spending accounts, which 24 million consumers rely on to pay for medical bills and currently have no federally imposed limit, will be capped at $2,500. These two provisions mean a greater share of families’ income must be devoted to health care, contrary to the promises Democrats made when selling the plan to the public in 2010.
Read the whole thing, it gets worse. But hey, you get what you vote for, or in our case, what other people vote for. We’re all stuck with it now. As the old saying goes, elections have consequences. We’re about to feel the effects. Good luck in the new year, we’re all going to need it.
Oh, and in case you forgot, here’s an Obamacare chart that is truly frightening. They made sure the worst wouldn’t hit until after the last election. They may be economically illiterate, but they ain’t stupid.
Thanks, low information voters. My family and I really appreciate how you screwed us all over. Perhaps if you had spent a few minutes a week getting a clue we could have averted this crisis. But no, that was too much to ask. Well, soon enough, your wallet will get a clue but by then it will be too late. Cheers!

And guess what? On top of the Obameecare taxes that kick in, every single one of the provisions that go into effect on Tuesday will dramatically increase the cost of health care and insuring that health care.
The small business where my son works became a medium sized business this year. His employee health insurance premiums went up over 50% in October for the same coverage as a result. It was worse for his wife’s employer. As a result, they’ve had to make budget cuts to afford insurance for my three grandkids. (No family vacation this year, sorry!)
Already word around from both their employers that they are considering dropping employee health insurance completely. Total premium for a family of 5 is more than $10,000 now and heading to $15,000 It’ll be $20,000 by the time 2016 rolls around. Employers can’t foot that kind of bill, so either premiums are going to skyrocket or insurance will be dropped.
It gets worse from there. But you voted for it, America. Now you’re going to pay for it. We warned you. You did it anyway.
Reap the whirlwind that will destroy your family.

The people you are talking to that voted in Obama for his second term don’t read this blog. On this blog you’re just preaching to the choir.
Go dig up a few of those screwball feminist and liberal blogs and let them know what they really voted for and the nightmare that’s coming… thanks to them.
Since around 100% of the readers of those kinds of blogs are braindead Obots, etc., what’s needed in them is a few entries reflecting reality. Sadly, both the authors and the readers been brainwashed into not taking responsibility and to blame anybody else but themselves for their stupidity, so they will most likely get mad at you, call you all manner of nasty names, threaten your and your familes life, or you’ll be deleted quickly.
But it’s worth the effort to put a few burrs under their saddles – to put a dent or two in their armor of ignorance.
Have fun! Go whack a liberal today!
