What a bunch of dupes. Former staffers from the Obama campaign are still unemployed and are griping because they aren’t getting special treatment for the inauguration. I’m having a hard time drumming up any sympathy.
In a sour footnote to President Barack Obama’s sweeping electoral victory last November, many of his campaign staffers have been shut out of the inaugural festivities, more than a dozen of them complained to BuzzFeed Monday.
“We worked our butts off, and I’m going to watch it on TV instead of being there,” said one former staffer. “It’s a huge bummer.”
Former staffers — who spoke to BuzzFeed on the condition of anonymity to preserve their relationships, and possible jobs, in Obama’s second term — say they have grown frustrated by what they see as inadequate communication from the Presidential Inaugural Committee, the group responsible for the inaugural balls, and in particular by its restrictions on access to the official events.
“I didn’t hear anything from PIC until a little more than a week ago,” said another staffer. “They knew this was happening. Instead of giving us details [of what we could attend] on November 7th, we found out so late that it would cost me $2,000 to go to Washington for a weekend as opposed to $1,000 or less if I booked two months ago.”
Maybe they should have worked for Mitt Romney instead. I heard he helped find jobs for his campaign staff, even though he was smarting after the election. Oh, and he paid them better, too.
Obama staffers were paid substantially less than Romney staffers in similar jobs in 2012, and many took pay cuts of $30,000-range from prior jobs, former staffers say. The final payday for staffers was the Friday after the election, as opposed to weeks later for the Republican campaign; health insurance was cut off in November as well.
Many remain unemployed.
Well, now they get to enjoy the miserable economy their hard work has ensured will last at least four more years.

“It’s a huge bummer.” With that impressive, evocative vocabulary, I’m not surprised this person is unemployed. What is he, twelve?? Serves them right for working for the wrong guy….bummer!

These people make me want to puke. Wah! Wah! Wah! They take a temporary job working for a man with no soul and no love for this country and they wonder why they’re getting screwed. PUHLEEEZE!
Man (or woman) up! Find a real job where you can do someting worthwhile instead of passing on lies for a Chavez type, and change your life and attitude.
Freedom and capitalism is what will return this country to its greatness, and I might add a LARGE DOSE OF GOD. Otherwise, be prepared to join the squalor and disaster of what will become the middle class under this American hating President.

Not surprising that monkey Django didnt invite the “help” to the ball.
And as for the loser whom wrote this article, djangos re-election was not decisive at all. Our true King Ronald Reagan, won re-election with 49 states. And the blacks had jobs under reagan and Bush for that matter.
