Rumor has it that Lisa Jackson is quitting as chief of the Environmental Protection Agency because she believes President Obama is going to approve the Keystone XL pipeline. The New York Post has the scoop:
EPA chief Lisa Jackson suddenly resigned last week because she was convinced that President Obama is planning to green-light the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline, The Post has learned.
“She was going to stay on until November or December,” said a Jackson insider. “But this changed it. She will not be the EPA head when Obama supports it [Keystone] getting built.”
While the State Department — not the Environmental Protection Agency — is responsible for the pipeline process because it’s an international project, Jackson is still the president’s top adviser on ecological policy. (Read More)
Officially she’s denying the rumor, but I suppose it sounds better than admitting she’s resigning because she got caught with fake email accounts, and all of the other nasty things she’s done. As for approval of the Keystone pipeline – I’ll believe it when I see it.

No pipeline means the RR that Warren Buffet has major interests in get to contract to move oil.
Mother Earth has JACK to do with this.

I agree with Sam Adams — Buffet is making a huge profit moving the minor amount of Canadian oil that is now left over from their oil sales to China.
As for Jackson, they’re trying to put a good face on it. One cannot take a principled stand on something if you don’t say what that principled stand is.
