Is anyone really surprised that President Obama is going to make his gun control announcement while surrounded by children? Maybe he can have one of them read the Constitution to him.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney announced this afternoon that President Obama will unveil a “concrete package” of gun control proposals including assault weapons bans, high capacity ammunition magazine bans, and closing loopholes on background checks.
Carney said that the president will be joined by Vice President Joe Biden as well as children who wrote to the president after the Newtown shootings.
“They will be joined by children around the country expressing their concerns about gun violence and school safety, along with their parents,” Carney confirmed. (See video of Carney’s remarks here.)
I doubt those kids have any clue what their future is going to look like thanks to this guy, and other members of his rotten party.

The progressive clowns figured out their strategies and tactics and methods, and refined them, in ENGLAND. They simply put ORDER above rights and liberties. Liberty to them is what is left over after you have Order. I could give a hoot whether it is called progressivism or statism or fabianism or marxism or liberalism or whatever – what a waste of time. It is a lot more than playing with words. You just witnessed how they do it – last nite, with 43 republicans voting with Cuomo. so … NO they do NOT tell you in plain english what is going on. While this side blabbers on about whether it is a clip or a magazine, or an assault weapon or a liberty rifle, we fail to see what is actually going on.
