The Washington Post sort of buried this news in an article published the other day, and now Vice President Joe Biden has confirmed it. The White House will use Executive Orders to impose gun control on us if that’s what they have to do to get around the Second Amendment. President Obama doesn’t have much use for congress, which he sees as an impediment to the implementation of his grand plans on all of us.
“The president is going to act,” said Biden, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with victims of gun violence. “There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”
Biden said that this is a moral issue and that “it’s critically important that we act.”
Biden talked also about taking responsible action. “As the president said, if you’re actions result in only saving one life, they’re worth taking. But I’m convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of americans and take thousands of people out of harm’s way if we act responsibly.” (Read More)
This is tyranny. And the timing is certainly questionable. Why didn’t they do this after the movie theater shooting in Aurora, CO? Why didn’t they do it after Gabby Giffords and the other victims were shot in Arizona? Oh yeah, because they knew this would be wildly unpopular and it would have affected the outcome of the election. This isn’t the sort of thing that falls under the radar. Just look at gun sales since the push for gun control began. Just today came another report of soaring gun sales. A town in Utah is actually telling people to arm their households.

Somebody ought to create a White House petition demanding that every single politician that supports or rams through these gun control measures should give up their own armed protection.

Biden acts mentally deranged and Obama is more and more resembling a combination of Hlter and Stalin (current heading on Drudge about this).There really isn’t much difference as far as behavior is concerned.
If you love your country and hate what is going on, stand up and fight. An executive order doesn’t trump the constitution and anyone who accepts a legal judgment by “Fast and Furious” Holder is dangerous.
And then there’s this, Patriots. If you are conservative but consider yourself a Republican (I used to), Libertarian, Conservative, or even a God-loving Democrat (if there is such a thing), call your Representative and Senators and tell them you hold them personally accountable if they don’t get directly involved in this fight. That’s right, RINOs and Progressives, no excuses accepted.
Pat Buchanan on a political show Sunday said that if O tries to follow through on his threat, we will go into a revolution. I don’t always agree with Pat but he’s right. I will not allow anyone to come into my private home and take my private weapons. I have never been charged with a crime, never been taken to a police station, and I had a top secret security clearance in the Army. I don’t think many of these elected clowns can say the same.
FDR, who I’m not particularly fond of, said in his speech to Congress declaring war on Japan that “We have nothing to fear, but fear itself”. He was right. Oh, it’s not that you can’t have fear of things, you’d be stupid if you didn’t. But what are you going to do with that fear. Challenge it, and defend our rights and honor, or become sheeple. It’s up to you.
I’ll go with Patrick Henry. “Give me liberty or give me death.” Life in a Staliistic country, as we are headed, is not what I will accept.
In closing, there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Progressives are usually cowards; they think they can just bully people out of the way. And tthey try to find someone else to do their dirty work. I don’t think many want to come after the millions of gun owners who are not going to meekly surrender them.

Unfortunately, the progressives being in charge could try to force confiscation administratively. The order that could come to be is that if known, recorded gun owners of certain listed arms do not willingly relinquish such, the government could lien their property. I could be that if caught and convicted of non-compliance with contraband after a defined grace period invokes automatic, zero-tolerance prison terms and forfeiture of property. If the government doesn’t have adequate numbers of enforcement personnel for a sweep or enough public compliance, it would only take DHS/DOJ to make a few, very publicized examples of individual resisters before there was mass capitulation in a second grace period (they always do that) out of fear of incarceration and financial ruination from government. Even renters could be affected through restrictive lease agreements because of the threat of loss to the landlord. The U.S. would be somewhat reminiscent of circa 1940 Germany and American colonialists of 1774 as well. Tyranny never changes.

It struck me last night that what the Journal News did is just what Rush says about the DRIVEBY MEDIA – they created an ‘assault map’ that sprayed thousands of law abiding citizens, and then they talk like ‘ we didnt do nuthin’.
