A bipartisan group of senators has reached a compromise deal on immigration reform.
Hey, did someone set the clock back six years in Washington? Because today looks a hell of a lot like the dawn of the Bush-Kennedy-McCain 2007 illegal alien amnesty. Deja vu all over again.
Starring in the role of John McCain this time around? Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio. Standing in for George W. Bush? Barack H. Obama. The usual liberal Democrat and bend-over Republican suspects serving as the supporting cast? Majority Whip Dick Durbin of Illinois, Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York, illegal alien intern employer Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and freshman Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake. (Read More)
It’s a shame John McCain’s political career didn’t end with his failed bid for the presidency.
In addition to increasing welfare and food stamp rolls, this would also flood Obamacare with new health care recipients.
Millions of immigrants may suddenly become eligible for healthcare benefits under Obamacare, if a comprehensive immigration deal passes that allows undocumented people to receive government documentation.
As the Affordable Care Act stands right now, illegal aliens are not allowed to purchase coverage through insurance exchanges, and, for the most part, they are not eligible for Medicaid, reports The Hill. In addition, younger immigrants allowed to stay in the United States through the Dream Act are not eligible for insurance under Obamacare.
Democratic U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez of Illinois said the nation needs to find a way for undocumented immigrants to become part of the workforce and not be a burden, and this also means allowing them to buy insurance through the exchanges if their employers don’t offer it. (Read More)
They’re following the Cloward Piven strategy to a t.

Michelle Malkin nailed it again. We had the original Reagan capitulation that congresses reneged on their promises. Clinton topped it with six more Acts, open borders, and VISAs. Bush-Congress 2007 appropriated funds to secure the border but BHO redirected the funds to other pet projects. We have sanctuary cities / states with aliens who are voting and draining resources they shouldn’t be getting; overwhelming Medicaid, Medicare, SSI, Education, Social Services, Jobs with fraud. BHO is overwhelming the U.S. with expedited VISAs and work permits to certain foreign groups untracked after entry. Immigration laws aren’t being enforced, and we now have defacto immigration without assimilation. When it comes to population control, the doors are wide open to terrorists and drug cartels. We learned nothing from the findings of the 9-11 Commission Hearings. It’s all political posturing and intentional neglect to follow the Constitution, rule of law, and policies on the books already. Pay-to-play.

if they can not stop smuggling humans, they try to convince us that they CAN stop gun smuggling. So now there is a ‘bipartisan’ lie.

Feinstein bemoans the fact that violent gangs have guns. Hey, Dianne, where the hell do you think these gangs are coming from? We import them “illegally”, the the Obama gang protects them from prosecution or deportation, and you want to take away guns away from the lawful Americans. Do expect us to believe that you are so dumb that you think that illegal gang members who have already broken almost every law in the land will give you their guns because it will be illegal to have them? Right, all of a sudden your gun law will make them honest. Give me a break!

I am sick of the “mexicans only do jobs that we won’t” argument. it is a lie. Even if it weren’t a lie, We should be using legal immigrants to do it, not illegal.
