The mental midgets in the New York legislature and governor’s office forgot to exempt law enforcement officers from the “high capacity” magazine ban in the new gun control law. What a bunch of idiots.

As the statute is currently written, it does not exempt law enforcement officers.

One more thing. If I were a criminal in New York I would place a citzens arrest to all police and security within the state including the security guarding the governor. How about them apples Crapo.

This is the fruits of having passed a law in the middle of the night with little public debate, using a drummed up crisis as an excuse. And to think, in 2016, Cuomo will run for president, saying that there is a need for change.

At least two elected officials have stepped over the line and committed Treason against the United states and the Office they swore to uphold! In my opinion bothe Cuomo and Obama should be tried for Treason by their attack on the 2nd Amendment and the Constitution

Why does law enforcement need to be exempt. If seven rounds is enough for us to protect ourselves from criminals, why do highly trained police officers require even more? It seems to me that they should get even fewer bullets.
Senate Republicans should refuse to pass any change to the law. They should only vote to repeal this clandestine, underhanded, abomination and leave us law-abiding, reponsible gun-owners alone. I will be at the Capital on Saturday joining the thousands of protesters. I suggest that everyone who holds their constitutional rights sacred, be there as well. The rally starts art 12:00 Noon.
