Lawmakers in Albany, NY rushed through a sweeping gun control bill and in response thousands of gun owners and pro-Second Amendment advocates turned out for a protest rally outside the Capital on Saturday. The rally was one of many that occurred throughout the United States. The crowd appeared to be quite massive. Here’s one of the photos from The New York Daily News. (Many more photos at the link.)

I wonder how many of these people voted for Governor Andrew Cuomo thinking he was a centrist. That’s how he billed himself, but now they’re seeing his true colors.

The poor people of NY. Wait a minute, they voted for these clowns. If you keep electing Democrats based upon what they promise, you are screwed. Democrats never keep their promises, unless it’s to Soros, Europe, any of our enemies, anti-Israel groups, or anyone who hates capitalism.
Unfortunately, there are quite a number of Repubs who react similarly. Talk a good game, then vote with the liberals everytime. But they don’t make up the majority.
NY is well on the way to becoming California East, and they have no one to blame but themselves. I do, however, feel sorry for the minority that didn’t vote for these guys. But they just find themselves in the same boat with national voters who knew what Obama stood for.
The bottom line, the most impoverished states will be in the Northeast and the Coastal West. What a disaster.

Wasn’t it Ben Franklin that said “those who are willing to give up a little freedom for security, deserve neither freedom or liberty”? Well New Yorkers this is what you get when you vote for Dems. Can’t have a gun, can’t smoke and no soft drinks greater than 16 oounces.
All this is happening and most of you will keep voting politicians like Crapo back into office like the dummies that you are.

The rally at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus was well attended also. The Dispatch , a left leaning rag, said there were hundreds there but it had to number several thousand at least. The OFA bunch organized a “peace” march against violence at Linden McKinley High and 30 people showed up. Went to Mansfield for a ProLife rally Sunday after church . Had a real nice crowd there too. Colder than Michelles heart in Ohio today so that number of dedicated prolifers was surprising . Probably 75 % were Catholic for you Protestant Catholic bashers out there . K of C signs you see. I have to admit I didn’t see an African American face at the Life rally though a few were in Columbus . Must be drinking all that KoolAid makes em cold.
