Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper wanted to find out for himself if fracking fluid was safe, so he drank it. No kidding.
The first-term Democrat and former Denver mayor told a Senate committee on Tuesday that he actually drank a glass of fracking fluid produced by oilfield services giant Halliburton.
The fluid is made entirely “of ingredients sourced from the food industry,” the company says, making it safe for Mr. Hickenlooper and others to imbibe.
“You can drink it. We did drink it around the table, almost rituallike, in a funny way,” he told the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. “It was a demonstration. … they’ve invested millions of dollars in what is a benign fluid in every sense.” (Read More)
Maybe they can serve up a glass for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. This state could use some new industry and economic growth.

OK, back in the 1990s, a salesman for a company which produced supposedly environmentally-safe chemicals for cleaning cement off of concrete mixers drank a sample of one of the chemicals he was selling.
A year later, that salesman was on the Jerry Springer Show doing some sort of routine netween himself and two women. Just sayin’

It doesn’t matter if distilled water was used for fracking fluid and the Governor drank it the left will rail against all energy sources available to Americans. The left has a problem with every single one you can think of. If it’s Communist China, Russia, Iran or The Muslim Brotherhood exploring and harnessing energy, it’s OK.
