Dr. Benjamin Carson is a world renowned pediatric neurosurgeon who made waves for speaking his mind at the National Prayer Breakfast. Of course, the media is mocking Carson for appearing on Fox News after he angered the left. Why wouldn’t he agree to be interviewed by any outlet willing to share his story?
Anyway, in case you missed it, here is the video of the Hannity special with Dr. Carson. I love his common-sense approach to solving the problems that plague our nation. No wonder the left is loathing him – he makes sense. I think he’s a breath of fresh air. The more I hear from Dr. Carson the more I like him. I would love it if he runs for office, and I’m hoping the planners at CPAC book him for a prime speaking slot. (Video via Common Cents)

I loved listening to Dr. Carson. He has good old basic common sense. And quite honestly, that’s what we are all craving is common sense.

Dr Ben is relative new on the scene but, to all appearances, he has a compelling story. It is impossible not to make a comparison with Obama, I could not imagine Dr Ben, who comes across as completely genuine, ever morphing into an Obama who style can be described as disingenuous (a milder term than I customarily use).
It may not be possible, but if Conservatives had a few ‘Ambassadors-at-Large”, individuals not running for office but somehow able to made the folks think about where this country came from and where it is going. I had hoped Newt could do this but he is perceived as a bomb thrower with all that baggage. How could this be accomplished with the media looking only for the “sip of water” moment? An uphill fight, to say the least.

Great personal story, great vision, a true model for our youth. I don’t know what his place will be but he definitely has a great role to play in the conservative movement.
I would, however, urge conservatives to go slowly on talk of the Presidency. Give the man some time to not only show more of himself but to also determine for himself what he thinks his role should be for America going forward.
We are beginning to bring out many fine conservative leaders and let’s “flesh things out” a little before we jump to conclusions. But, having said that, this man is truly a “keeper” for the return to greatness of America. He is truly a breath of fresh air after listening to Obama’s nonsense.

Not falling for a pretty face or a sweet line of bs anymore. This guy is going to have to walk the walk before I would give him any real attention. We’ve all heard it before, its been bait and switch over and over with politicians and wannabe politicians. I am sick to death of all of them. Nearly everything they do makes my life worse and I have to pay them to do it!
