House Republicans put together this video montage of President Obama’s last four State of the Union addresses. Let’s see, he promised to cut the deficit in half. Since then the national debt has risen by about $6 trillion. He promised that if you like your insurance you can keep it. Now we know that millions of Americans will lose their insurance policies thanks to Obamacare. Another time he said he would reduce barriers to growth and investment due to burdensome regulations, and he promised an “all of the above” energy strategy. How’s that working out for us?

But we’re supposed to think he’s pivoting back to jobs and the economy.

I don’t know why anyone even watches the SOTU spectacle anymore. What a joke.

Update: This ought to be a hoot – apparently he’s going to play up the economic benefits of his progressive policies. I’m sure he won’t mention the inevitable middle class tax hikes and death panels.
