Former Congressman Lt. Colonel Allen West addressed CPAC this morning.
“We are defined by how quickly we pull ourselves off the mat. … We understand that the Constitution was written to control the government, not the people. … Now is the time we need a new generation of leaders. … Be a party of action—deeds and not words will paint this country red.”
My flight has been delayed so I’m still in the airport. At least there’s You Tube, so I’ not completely missing it. Hopefully the delay won’t be too long. Anyway, enjoy the speech. West gets it.

Senator Leahey certainly does NOT get it – he said that Feinstein is not trying to do REGISTRATION. Funny – she said she wants to get rid of guns, and dry up the supply. Yet Leahey says he respects the second amendment. yeah right.
every time we take our eyes off these liars, they push ahead with their agenda, and blabber on about it being only “reasonable”.
and when Leahey isn’t being laughable you have that real comedian – you know the one – who is also on this panel that is passing the Feinstein BAN. He was reading from some report that said the clinton gun ban was only inconclusive rather than ineffective.
hey – everybody knows what the Left wants – they have been saying it right out in the open – so, why is there all this prevarication ?

I guess that Franken and Leahey and Feinstein can not figure out that if you reduce some murder statistics, other statistics raise their ugly heads. As with England – where you get arrested for defending yourself in your own house. Oh but they don’t want to pay attention to that. Ditto for Australia. It is all a matter of what the Press feels like paying attention to. Whatever they focus on depends on their agenda. Soft Drinks, Chris Hayes taking over from Ed Shultz. They remember History when it suits them, but conveniently forget that America never had this Newtown style violence back in the fifties. They never want to ask what changed.
