Aw, Poor Obama Feels ‘Constrained By A System Our Founders Put In Place’

Obama and human props

President Obama was talking guns – in front of human props, of course –  when he dropped this line:

“I am constrained, as they are constrained, by a system that our Founders put in place. It’s a government of and by and for the people.”

He ought to tell that to his bureaucrats. He has nothing but disdain for the constitution.

Jeff Goldstein weighed in:

That he feels the need to say this aloud is of itself quite telling, but what galls me most — his special pleading here aside — is that we know for a fact that he doesn’t believe he either can or should be constrained by that “flawed document” that the framers put in place to do just that.

Read the whole thing.
