Rep. Paul Ryan may not be at the top of your list of Republicans these days thanks to his push for amnesty for illegals, but he did unveil a nasty little loophole in Obamacare when questioning acting IRS commissioner Danny Werfel last week. The problem is that the employer mandate has been delayed, and so has any verification of eligibility for subsidies. So people who might really think they are eligible, and receive subsidies for two years, will end up having to pay back the government 100% of what they receive in subsidies in 2016. So unless you are certain beyond a doubt that you’re eligible, you might not want to apply for these subsidies, or you could be in trouble in a couple of years. It could even happen if one receives the subsidy from an employer. Via MRCTV here’s the video.
