Vincent Gray, The Mayor of Washington, DC, isn’t too happy with the way his own party is holding up the funds his city needs to operate. He’s so unhappy, he appeared at a press event with Republicans, and then crashed another event featuring Senate Democrats. Republicans in the House have passed bill after bill funding all of these things and the Democrats in the Senate refuse to bring those bills up for a vote. They refuse to even negotiate. They’re the ones keeping this partial shutdown going and making it as painful as they possibly can. But of course their attitude is “Who does this Mayor Gray think he is, letting the truth get out and screwing up our plan?”
