David Plouffe Says It Will Be Impossible For Republicans To Run Against Obamacare

President Obama’s former adviser David Plouffe has joined the growing number of delusional Democrats who believe Obamacare will be a winning issue for their party next year and in 2016.

“But where could we be in four or five months?” Plouffe continued. “Hopefully the website is working fine and people are enrolling for health care. Hopefully, we won’t have another Washington dysfunction—which is one of the reasons people are upset, it’s not just health care—and we pass a budget and move forward, and the economy continues to strengthen. So we could be in a much different place three, four months from now. No doubt this is challenging time, but I think you have to have some perspective here. The story could change.”

“The political notion that next year’s election, or 2016, the Republican platform is going to be getting rid of health care?” Plouffe continued. “Millions of people will be signed up. It’s an impossibility.” (Read More)

Well, in all fairness, the plan is to get enough people on the dole to give Democrats a permanent majority. But people aren’t liking Obamacare. From the botched website, to the cancelled plans, to the many lies, to the providers being dropped from networks, it’s one mess after another. It’s also revealed for all to see the utter incompetence of the inexperienced boob they voted for not once, but twice, to lead this republic. Mark Steyn put it perfectly:

So, if I follow correctly, the smartest president ever is not smart enough to ensure that his website works; he’s not smart enough to inquire of others as to whether his website works; he’s not smart enough to check that his website works before he goes out and tells people what a great website experience they’re in for. But he is smart enough to know that he’s not stupid enough to go around bragging about how well it works if he’d already been informed that it doesn’t work. So he’s smart enough to know that if he’d known what he didn’t know he’d know enough not to let it be known that he knew nothing. The country’s in the very best of hands. (Read More)

Even for the low-information wing of the electorate, that’s a lot to overcome, especially with Saturday Night Live skits like this one. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to recognize incompetence on such a massive scale. Not to mention all of the people losing their policies, or the marriage penalty, or the penalty for getting a raise or a better job, or any of the other penalties. This is the big, centralized government they promised us, and now we’re seeing it in action.
