Hillary Clinton’s new book is out and she kicked off her media tour with Diane Sawyer on ABC News. We heard all about how hard it was for her and Bill to buy houses after they left the White House. (This caused MSNBC’s Morning Joe panel to erupt in laughter.) She whined about her hair. She failed to name a single achievement as Secretary of State, but never mind that. She told Sawyer that Benghazi is even “more of a reason” for her to run for president. Seriously.
When questioned in the interview about the attack’s potential impact on a potential run for president, Mrs. Clinton responded, “Actually, it’s more of a reason to run, because I do not believe our great country should be playing minor league ball. We ought to be in the majors.”
That doesn’t even make sense. She’s talking about a terrorist attack as if it was a ball game. That’s even more reason why she shouldn’t be president. She’s demonstrated that she isn’t fit for the job. In the same interview she said she took responsibility for the attack and in the next breath said it wasn’t her fault.
During the interview, Mrs. Clinton also takes responsibility for the attack that killed four Americans, but adding that she was not “making security decisions.”
“I’m not equipped to sit and look at blueprints, to determine where the blast walls need to be or where the reinforcements need to be,” she said in the interview. “That’s why we hire people who have that expertise.” (Read More)
