This site doesn’t have a sugar-daddy funding it. It’s funded by little ole me, and the bandwidth isn’t cheap. Another Update: I love reading comments, but so many are coming in on old posts (months, or even years old) that I’ve decided to close comments after 21 days. That’s plenty of time to have your say. If you think differently, visit the home page and leave a comment on a current thread. Sorry, I just don’t have the time.
Update: Due to some technical difficulties with the old theme, I had to get a new theme. There is no comment number showing on the main page anymore. Just click “read more” and you will be able to leave a comment. Thanks!

Update: After some of the hateful, nasty comments posted I guess it’s time for a “comment rules” update.
This is a conservative site, hence the name. I don’t frequent liberal blogs and leave denigrating comments to the authors or other blog readers. I figure, they have their point of view and nothing I say is going to change their minds, so why bother?
That being said, I don’t mind comments from differing points of view, but come on people, grow up. Enough with the name calling. From now on, all comments calling me, or other commenters Nazi, racist, fascist, to name just a few, will no longer be tolerated. If you don’t like it you can go back to Daily Kos or Huff Po where you’ll be welcomed with open arms!
Update 2: There are a million spammers out there. If you leave a comment with more than 2 links it will automatically be put into the spam filter and I’ll have to catch it and approve it. So if you have something important to say and there are two links, please be patient. Once I notice it I’ll approve it.
And with regard to those who leave hate filled, profane comments: I may at times leave your comments for all to see – just to prove that it isn’t our side that’s evil and intollerant.
Update 3: It’s my site! I pay for the broadband. This isn’t a forum to bash our contributors and readers. I will delete any comment I please and I’ll even block your IP address if you really piss me off.
Update 4: After having the site hacked (it’s fixed now) I’ve decided to require that anyone who posts a comment for the first time has to have the comment approved. So if you post for the first time and your comment doesn’t show up right away, it could be that I’m away from my computer. On top of the hacker the site’s been getting hit with a ton of spam that’s slowing things down, so it could help with that, too. Thanks.

The double standard should sicken all of us. Here are just a cuople examples of the vicious, sexually laced remarks about Sarah Palin made by leftist: Palin’s teenage daughter might have gone into the doughout to have sex with a baseball player, Sarah’s husband could have had incestuous realtions with his daughters; yet there have been no significant apologies to Palin.
If there are any conservativew with a pair of gonads, they should raise bloody hell demanding apologies to Palin. How about this: Obama calling Sarah Palin to apologize for the excesses of his supoorters?

L.C.: I’ve had a computer for 2 1/2 years and been tooling (not trolling) around to find a like-minded site. I’m an Independent who is totally disgusted with the lockstep Liberal propaganda. In fact, I was thrown off the Newsvine (MSNBC) site for spouting Conservative views/corrections to a few closed minded Liberals. I have since signed back on again under another of my email addresses and begun again to “give ‘em Hell, Harry”. Liberals disgust me!
I’m an “Old Codger” and have been around almost 8 decades. I like the company of people who tell the truth and despise those who don’t. We obviously have a POTUS who is unfit for the Oval Office and is in real bad need of being replaced ASAP.
But, thanks L.C. for a chance to carry on an exchange with those who apparently feel as I do. I’ve already tagged your site on my Favorites Bar, and as MacArthur said: I shall return.

The only problem I have with this, is that I frequently include links to liberal sites like Think Progress in order to make certain points. You can’t critique what someone on Think Progress said, unless you first prove that they said it by linking to what they said. Otherwise I would have to quote everything they said, which makes my post a whole lot longer.
